Five First Aid Items To Pack For Any Trip

Thinking about traveling? We get it. The wanderlust is real. And so is the need for safe travel. So, whether you’re heading off to Italy for a scooter ride through Rome - or a vacation closer to home - here are 5 things you should always carry in your travel first aid kit.

  1. Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) - This forever useful antihistamine is great for allergy symptoms, whether you’ve got the sniffles or a mild allergic reaction to an insect bite or sting. 
  2. Tylenol (Acetaminophen)- This medication comes in handy as a simple non-sedating pain reliever, and it works effectively as a fever reducer. 
  3. Neosporin and Band-Aids - Cuts and scrapes happen, but you can be prepared with a handy tube of this tropical antibiotic and an assortment of Band-Aids.
  4. Imodium (Loperamide) - Nothing can ruin a vacation more than the dreaded diarrhea attack. 
  5. Advil (Ibuprofen) - Whether you select the generic version or name brand, like Advil or Motrin, this medication comes in handy for simple pain relief from aches and strains.
